Brickhouse Board Week is a mobile surf camp designed for boys and girls(ages 10-16) who are proficient in the water that would like to learn to surf or improve their surfing skills. We make sure that each camper, from beginner through advanced, will feel comfortable in their ability to have fun and train at their own level. With small class sizes(each session is limited to 12) we are able to provide personalized instruction in a fun learning environment. Our goal is to have each camper leave with improved skills and a big smile.
In addition to time in the water we also spend time learning about proper surf ettiquette, weather & waves and how waves are created, as well as environmental issues through our affiliation with the Surfrider Foundation.

***A note about the weather and waves***
Waves are not guaranteed. In fact, the Board Week is designed around the assumption that there will not be waves. Students have a lot to learn both in and out of the water and their time at the camp will be fun and educational regardless of weather and wave conditions.
Waves are often associated with bad weather. A day at the beach in New England often means a day at the beach in the rain. That’s what the wetsuit is for. This is the reality of New England surfing. If it is rainy and there are waves, we will be in the water all day. If it rains and there are no waves we have several rainy day itineraries that will be implemented depending on the severity of the weather.
